I don't want to highjack this thread, but I thought I might piggyback my inquiry here. Does anyone have any updates on the status of the Paducah Highland Games? I understand from speaking to Ms. Harris that it is a no go this year, but the word was that they are trying to move it to Murray, KY next year, provided they can: interest the local merchants/town/Murray State University.
Does anyone know anything further on this? Cheers.

    Brose,

I will not be there this year but it is on my to do list.
They always have some of the finest celtic music lineups on the circuit.

It might be time for you to break out the flashlights and do a little
    night mowing.

Ambrose, get yersel' out there and mow the lawn today! I was hoping to meet up with you in Lucas.

We'll be there, Saturday and Sunday. If you see a fellow in a Lamont Ancient, carrying a flag looking like my avatar, then come on over and introduce yourself.

Ambrose, three words to encourage you - Clann An Drumma. ;)

    Lord Lyon...

From the Society of Scottish Armiger's web site:

In 2005, for the third consecutive year, the sitting Lord Lyon, King of Arms of Scotland will be attending the highland games in America at Glasgow, Kentucky. He will be attending our annual general meeting held during the Glasgow Highland Games on Sunday, 5th June.

Lord Lyon is also mentioned on the Glasgow Games main page.

I plan to attend, probably Saturday, but I'm not sure yet.
