It has arrived . . . .
Picked up my birthday present, today. 8yd Modern MacBeth. WOW.
Not to insult the kilt in any way, because I don't know it well, yet, but it has way more personality than I do.
The shop called yesterday (approximately 64 days, 2 hours, after I placed the order) so I raced over to pick it up, getting there just before they closed.
Dwayne, the salescleark I'd placed the order with, wasn't there, so I agreed to return the next day, so he could do the introductions. ( I did get to see it before I left, of course.) I thought that spoke well of the staff - that they like to see each other get to enjoy their own customer's reaction to the new garment.
Anyway . . . I hope I get to tag along the first time this 'tank' hits the street.

MacBeth is a great Tartan, somewhat similar to Anderson in color, so I know you'll love it! And that does sound like a great shop if they take that kind of pride in their work. Congratulations.

Mine's on Sunday...but I don't think there's a new kilt in one of those little boxes on top of the piano. There might be a new beret, though!

Would that be "on Sunday" as in "On Sunday, Junt 12?"
My Birthday is Sunday, 12 June as well.
Looks like we share a birthday with George Bush I.
