We'll be there.
I just hope we get past these everyday thunderstorms we
have had for the last couple of weeks.
You can have your dram, you just have to "Brown Bag" it.
This is from GMHG web site:
- Avery County is a dry county. All containers of alcohol must be kept out of sight in bags or boxes and off the tables at MacRae Meadows. The tent keeper must enforce this policy or GMHG Security will handle the situation. [Any violations reported to GMHG SECURITY will be turned over to the Avery County Sheriff's Department]
I have taken whisky and beer to the games for several years.
You just have to use a coozy for beer and keep you
whisky bottle out of sight.
I sometimes carry my flask attached to my belt and it has been fine.
On the other hand if you were to overdo it and become too rowdy or
knee walking drunk then security would deal with you.
I would also suggest you bring plenty of warm and rain proof clothing.
It can be quite cool and we can get a good deal for rain.
Temps can go from upper 80's during the day to upper 40's at night.
Are you on the 11 pm or 1 am curfew side?
