    Talking New Kilt!

I just wanted to post a new thread and brag about my new kilt. It is a PV Scottish National Traditional. I LOVE IT!! Rocky and Kelly, once again did a fantastic job. The quality is unmatched. You can spot a USA Kilts kilt out of a group strictly by the craftsmanship. Once again guys, well done and thanks!

    Hi Zak,

    Somehow I missed this post.

I agree that USA is quality and that the Scottish National is one fine looking tartan. BTW Graham wore his USA Scottish Nationl when he was visiting here in Denver, and it really does look sharp!

As Glen said, I have one of those kilts too. In fact it's my wifes' favourite. My USAK Stewart Hunting used to be my favourite kilt, but now it's a tie!

[QUOTE=Ziggs] It is a PV Scottish National Traditional.

I don't know all the abbreviations yet...what does PV stand for? The kilt was made by USA Kilts?

PV= Poly Viscose, a material used by many of the casual kiltmakers.

    Hey Court,

PV is a fabric (65% Polyester, 35% viscose) that we make our casual and semi traditional kilts from. The material is 11 oz and is machine washable. It's a great alternative for those people who want a "real looking" tartan kilt, but don't want to spend $500 + to get it.
