    Irish National pics...(round one)

Finally! I had the day off so I was messing around with my digital camera. This is the 9-yard wool blend Irish National kilt I purchased a few months ago. It's the one that Chris from Southern Celts was selling.
I tried a couple of different looks. Please be kind, I'm not as camera friendly as Hamish!

That kilt looks awesome! I love that tartan and it will be by next kilt. Where did you buy it?

Al, it will come with practice, believe me!

You know? That is one delicious kilt and I much prefer that colouring to the Stillwater version. Strangely, I have never thought to have an Irish tartan represented in my Kilt Kollection (possibly because I have no Irish connections - as far as I know!), but that Irish National really 'does it' for me and I am now sorely tempted. Yes, I AM tempted.......

Oh-oh! I don't want to be responsible for you adding yet another kilt to your kollection! LOL

It's unfortunate that I wasn't able to attend the gathering in Vancouver. You would have been able to check it out in person.

It is a rather nice tartan, though. I prefer it to the SW version because I really don't like "loud" colours. They just don't look good on me. Same reason I won't get a Royal Stewart kilt, too much bright red!
