    Thumbs up Quick update

Well, I got the Stillwater Blackshadow Heavyweight, and hooboy, is it different than the SK! I absolutely love this thing. I've worn it to all my classes for the past three days, had several nice comments, etc. And the pleats are doing VERY well indeed.

But that's not the update. The update is that when my girlfriend saw me in it (boots, SWK, and green t-shirt) she just smiled, and a bit later whispered (we were in a class) "That looks really cool. Much better than the other one."
So somebody want to tell me why I was worried?

Thank you Stillwater, and thank you guys.

Edit: and it does very well while playing cello, as well.

Anything that gets your girlfriend whispering in your ear is a good thing!

Toad, I have the same kilt. As somebody who started with heavyweight worsted wool kilts, I can tell you from my perspective they are quite adequate for the money. I would suggest that at some point in your life you should treat yourself to the experience of a wool traditional, but in the meantime enjoy the heck out of that kilt... and the lassies it gathers.
