I had a feeling when I arrived at the post office that today would be the day!
In my post box there was the small card to say that a parcel awaited me in the Post Office.
When I saw the triangle cardboard box I just knew that another kilt had arrived.
It's a nice feeling isn't it!
I hope it's fair to say that this is a somewhat "test" kilt from USAK.
The kilt is a lovely dark green plain 'twill' (at least, that's what I call it). what is it really called Rocky?
The colour is close to the kilts I saw with Glen at the Denver Irish festival on the Irish Pipe band that played there. It's beautiful!
The kilt is 8 yard, USAK semi-traditional style, lightweight, just great for the summer coming up.
I've been so busy today that I've not had time to take a photo, I'll post one soon.
I wore it to the AGM of our pipe band tonight, I got comments like "hey, this is a Scottish band, not Irish!"
Strange, I'm the only one who wears a kilt to every meeting of the band.
Thanks Rocky, another fine kilt.
