Yeah, but it has it's problems as well (like anywhere else). Great city to live in though. Technically what is often refered to as Vancouver is the Lower Mainland which is made up of several cities connected to each other (Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Maple Ridge. Pitt Meadows, Richmond, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Surrey/ Delta[we don't talk about that one]) http://www.sd40.bc.ca/power/images/l...%20map%202.jpg
Each area offers it's own unique experiences and adventures. It's a great place to visit, but a fantastic place to live. Where else can you go skiing and play golf in the same day? How about diving and horseback riding?

The best part is that we have the 2005/2006 Stanley Cup winning team!
For if you can't hook him, hold him, or slash/crosscheck him and goad him into a penalty, how are you going to stop Bertuzzi?
The only one that can stop Bertuzzi is Bertuzzi. And you can bet they're telling him that!

Lived in Canada (Chicoutimi-Nord, Québec) for part of college. Of late, I'm thinking it would be good to go back and make it permanent. Vancouver is one of the places on the list of potentials. Beautiful B.C., Canada's banana belt... then Victoria has the most amazing gardens.

If I didn't fell in love with Vancouver, I would have left 9 years ago. Now, I am married, 1 kid, 4 cats and many other stuff. I am here for good!!!!
Hamish, I am glad that you enjoy Vancouver. Trust me, you haven't seen everything yet. There are things that we haven't shown you yet!!!!

Having grown up just a little south of the us/canada border, I can truthfully say that of all the big cities I been in, Vancouver is the one I like the most. There is also that strange feeling that you get when you cross the border, I am not sure how to explain it but a bit more free. Maybe it is just the big brother mentality that exists in the good old usa.
