Opinion of my first "Traditional" kilt

so I wore my new USAK semi-trad tonight to dinner to see a friend who is watching my apartment while I am across the pond...
WOW! know I really get it! I mean I love my UKs but a custom made kilt is an incredible feeling and fit! still getting used to wearing it high, and making sure my belt sits right over the buckles, but the swish, the hang...I am in big trouble now. LOL I think I need to look into some TFC kilts. Anyone got any idea on prices? I can't find anything on the website. I would love the cut and feel and have pockets! I need me some more of these!!!

    UH-OH!

That is why, along with being financially embarrassed, I haven't taken the plunge into traditional kilts yet. Glad you shared the feeling with me KB.

You have to go to the TFCK page, put your mouse pointer over the "Welcome" tab and then click on "prices" in the drop down menu that appears.

One word of advice, Nothing in the menus seem to work with Mozilla Firefox (even the latest version) I had to open IE as a browser before I could look at the prices or the different kilts.

This link: https://www.geoffreykilts.co.uk/uplo...age=2100002169 will get you to their catalogue page. It's actually Geoffrey (tailors) page but the catalogue includes TFCK and prices. They say the catalogue isn't ready yet but they will deliver soon. The previous one is excellent for description and basic principles of kilt fashion and style.

The new TFCK site is looking a lot better. Here's the price list page:

Saving up from a nice pinstripe kilt suit. Have, since I saw Ham's gallery wearing one. Just need to justify to the wife why I need a $1100+ kilt suit that won't get a whole lot of wear to the office....

Same here. Those pinstripe suits look really nice, and I love how they show their in such casual fashion. It makes it so much more appealing for the young public.
