    Jonesing sucks

Even if it's only for a few days.

I went ahead & ordered a 22oz. kilt in the Cameron Highlanders tartan from WPG on monday. Was told it would ship out on tuesday and get here in about 2 days. Also ordered A kilt belt & buckle, but chances are those will take a couple weeks to get her from Scottland.

So here I sit at work Jonesing, Jonesing, Jonesing & wondering if the kilt is going to be here when I get home.

It's also my other halfs birthday today so she could have a double suprise. Getting to see me in the new kilt would make her happy since she thinks they're sexy & theres sure to be a big smile when she sees the sterling silver and Afgani lapis pinky ring that I've made for her.

I also know that one of her co-workers got her a kilt related tee shirt for her B-day. So I'll have to get some pics taken when I get home & try to get them posted tomorrow.

The pleats on the Cameron are military box pleats. They are fantastic and swing great. They hold shape beautifully too.

I'll second that! I am waiting on 3 kilts and an Argyll jacket right now and I don't know when any of them will get here! The jacket and one kilt are coming from the UK, the jacket by airmail and the kilt by ground. Should be interesting to see how far apart they arrive as they both were shipped at approximately the same time. The other 2 kilts are my PK's on order from Jeff, who is probably really swamped due to the contract he just took on. Hopefully the jacket will get here this week. It has been long enough.

Oh, and let's not forget the 2 leather sporran straps from Robert at RKilts!

OK, bragging about all my purchases doesn't relieve the jonesing quite as good a actually receiving one of these items, but it does help some. Sorry guys!

I know exactly how you feel. I'm waiting on two kilts myself. One from a friend (22 oz. Blackwatch) and the other I bought on E-Bay.

But it is well worth the wait! I do understand and can relate.

Ah, but is waiting on your order to come in as bad as waiting for the money for the new kilt to come in first?

    I bet not.
