WiyS, welcome to X Marks. Congratulations on getting your first kilt.
As for switchblade's comment about the value of this thread, don't take it to heart. The Admin and the Mods are the ones that decide which threads are of no worth, not switchblade. And any time we can welcome a new member, that thread has tremendous value.

I like your user name , very unusual.
Send your dad this way, let's see if we can change his mind and get him into a kilt.
There are alot of good honest folk here and you couldn't have come to a better place.
Congrats on your purchase, don't worry your dad'll come round, wear it with pride and everything will fall into place.

Welcome home I agree with Ranald, have your Dad visit us and I am sure he'll change his attitude about wearing the kilt. Have fun while you are here

Welcome! Did you derive your user name from the Capital One commercial? Very clever.

Thanks for the welcome everybody. Yes I did indeed derive the name from the comercials. My dad is coming around since i showed him a bravehearts sight about why kilts are so wonderful. Now I have a new problem. I have been told by an administrator that if I wear it again I will be sent home and suspended. I normally dont listen to school staff anyways because I thik most f the rules are just crap (this one as well) but I respect this one (administrator not rule). They say Its crossdressing (which wasnt against the rules until this year). I know I can explain to them all I want that it isnt but they wont listen to me (what do I know Im just a kid) that phrase is really starting to tick me off. Ive fought rules before and won (like no sandals at school) but this is gonna be a tuffy. They seem set to believe that its a skirt. Oh well Ill just have to wirk this one out with them. Ill have some pictures soon Im still trying to find a driver for my mac. Well thanks again and glad to be here.
