New member in Norway
Hi! I am in the process of getting my first kilt. I live in northern Norway, just south of the Arctic Circle. British of Irish, English, Norwegian and Swedish heritage (yes, quite the mix ).
Found this excellent forum when researching for purchase, and saw no reason for lurking around.
I'll be getting the Murphy tartan (of course), and enjoy the things that can represent the Celt in me - be it the modern kilt as developed in Scotland, or the lovely stout and whiskey from the Emerald Isle.
Looking forward to learning more.
best regards

Patrick,
Welcome to Xmarks. This is a great web site, with many wonderful people. I think you will find that you can get answers on everything that pertains to wearing a kilt here. The combined knowledge of the membership is amazing.
Also, welcome to wearing the finest garment ever designed for a man. I think that you will find that kilts are quite addicting. I suspect that you will be wearing mostly heavyweights due to your location.
