Finally got a copy of MOTG!

After much wailing and gnashing of teeth, I have finally got my copy of Monach of the Glen - the book!

Got it through Amazon.com and only had to shell out the price of the book plus something like the equivalent of $3.50 US for the postage. I had originally looked to the publisher, Penguin UK, as a source but the book was £8.00 and the shipping was going to be £8.50! Fortunately there was another source.

So now after I finish "How the Scots Invented the Modern World" I can start MOTG. Boo-yeah!

It's a good book and quite funny.

Hunting the Fairies

Thay all at least mention Ben Nevis or feature him as a character. A lot of the books also feature the Characters from the Todday islands that are introduced in Whisky Galore.

I enjoyed them all.
