    Another Brew In The Bottle

I just bottled my McDonald's Highland Oatmeal Stout tonight. Drank what didn't fit in the bottles. Good stuff. Good stout with the addition of the smooth character and flavor of the oatmeal. Now, do I have the patience to wait for it to carbonate?

Why McDonald? It's named after a friend of mine, and continues my Scottish Ale kick I've been on. Why Highland? Because I brewed it using some White Labs yeast (WLP028) that I stole out of my Wee Heavy, to give it some Scotch Ale character.

I'll post the recipe tomorrow on my website.

Still waiting for someone to take me up on my standing offer. Free beer for anyone that shows up at my door kilted.

MacMullen, clearly you need some expert to sample with you. I will gladly accept the task. Hop on I 75 and come on down for a visit, we can even sample some of my brew. Well, maybe I'll buy a bottle, we don't brew anymore, wink wink.
