    Bad user name choice

I just noticed that if you take the capital letters out of my user name and use them to spell another word you get A** big OOPS in choosing a name on my part. I guess I will just have to live with it and hope for the best.

If you had only sat on that bit of trivia, no one would have noticed.

While we are on the subject, is there anyway to change the name? I'm on a few otherboards that you keep your original name as the log in, but you can change your name as to how it appears on posts, etc as many times as you want.

It's not so bad. Like Southern Breeze said, most wouldn't have noticed.

My online nick has given me some grief. I came up with "furrycelt" years ago (over 10) when I was leaving NCSU and needed a non-school email address. I signed up with Yahoo. I wanted something that reflected me, so I went with all the things that covered Celtc, Scottish, red hair, etc.. Well, everything I came up with was taken. I refused to take something already in existance and add numbers behind it, purely out of ego of course. Almost about to give up, I discovered that "furrycelt" wasn't taken. I am rather hairy and I am of celtic blood, so why not.

For a long while I thought little of it. Until I would get the occasional *odd* question directed at me out of the blue. And around that time, I happened across a curious documentary on MTV (of all things). Appearently, there is a fetish-sub-culture of people who like to dress up as animals and also do "animal things". They call themselves: "furries".

For the record: I am not a "furry"!!

However, I have kept it cause everyone online knows me as that. And if you don't read anything into it, it still fits me.

Why o why does everyone insist on putting these images into my head!

Actually that reminds me of a CSI episode about a murder at a furry singles event. Rather scarry really. But to each his/her own.

And as for our unfortunately monikered friend, I too promise to never use your acronym.

LOL... yeah "fluffy" is one way to describe what marriage and a desk job has done to me (and pasta and Ben'n'Jerry's and pizza...)

"fuzzy" fits too, as in I stay up too late on the computer and I have a 4-month-old who occasionally doesn't sleep thru the night.

OCCASIONALLY? My daughter didn't sleep thru the night for like 8 months! Now she's 13, so she will probably soon start keeping me awake at night for other reasons. :-(
