Enya's latest
I've only recently listened to her latest offering 'Amarantine', I think it's her best, especially the last track which I thought was gaelic, but in fact is the lanquage she has invented - "Loxian".
The whole thing is mythical nonsense....but I can't stop playing it over and over!!
Enya, Laphroaig and kilted, it doesn't get any better! ;)

I totally agree... I posted on this last week and since then have listened to the CD many times without tiring of it. Her music is amazing in that, although she often sings in soft delicate instrument like tones, the music is best played loud. This brings out the celestial, atmospheric qualities of the music. I often find passages of this CD playing in my head - like the proverbial tune that won't go away. I hope there is less of a wait before she releases her next CD.

All glowing comments, I think that I shall have to break open my wallet and puchase it. (OK I knew I would but hey)

Yeah, is right, I like Enya's music but...
but I have to say that just a CD in my collection is enough. Most of her songs remind me of others from previous disks. "Memory of trees" was for me a mix from "watermark" and "shepherd moons".
To repeat the same succesful formula once and again ends up tiring the public.
It's only my opinion. Now, you can open fire on me.
