    Childrens kilts

    I need some help.
My son turns 4 in June & I want to get him a kilt. Something in PV or similar easily cleaned material & adjustable to grow with him for a few years.

I know Bear kilts made such a thing at a very good price & with him being down, trying to catch-up, ext. I need to know who else makes those types of kilts at a decent price.

Can anyone get me pointed in the right direction?

What do you consider a decent price? If you give a range, people will probably be able to help you better or at least, tell you if it's realistic!

www.kiltstore.net has great prices on some kid's kilts in a variety of makes (really expensive - affordable) and tartans. I will be picking one up for my son in MacKenzie from there for $46 cdn.

    Thumbs up kilted kids

Start 'em young ,that's what I say! Think of all the years missed for some of us. Have fun finding the kilts . An inexpensive source could be some of the highlan games in your area.

Little Scotland has some children's in their catalog in the $35-$ 50 range at www.scottishlion.com.

We were looking at them for one of the grandsons.

Do you need a specific tartan?

IIRC- USA kilts makes children's kilts, too- I'll take a look this weekend (if Rocky hasn't seen this thread and replied) and let you know their price range.

I just had a look at these guys, and for the amount I am looking at paying, Kiltstore seems to be the better option for price and selection. Scottishlion wants $39 US for one of 3 tartans and $58.95 for a kids sporran. I can get a kid's kilt in 1 of 68 Tartans for $44.77 cdn and a sporran for $36.22 Cdn.

Check them out, it may just what your grandson needs
