Favourite Celtic Movies
I know we've discussed this before, but have any new ones appeared lately?
My most loved are:
Waking Ned devine (Irish, but film on the Isle of Man)
Braveheart
Rob Roy
The Magdalene Sisters (very sad, but true)
what are your favourites?

1. Tunes of Glory (my all-time favourite movie, hands down!)
2. The Quiet Man
3. The Brylcreem Boys
4. The Englishman who went up a hill but came down a mountain
5. Rob Roy
6. Michael Collins
The Disney movies "Darby O'Gill and the Little People and Kidnapped also deserve an honourable mention here, as well as "A River RunsThrough It", about a Scottish-American family in Montana.
Still waiting to see "Trouble in the Glen", though.

Loch Ness(I know many do not like it
but I still liked the Premise)
Bobby Jones; Stroke of Genius
(not exactly Celtic but a great golf movie with
wonderful footage from the old course at St Andrews.)

3) FAR AND AWAY (it's a little too much romantic for me, but,... I loved the music)
4) THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS ( U can appreciate the celtic connections between french and british in Canada, mainly on music as well)
5) THE ENGLISH WHO CLIMBED A HILL AND DESCENDED A MOUNTAIN
6) LOCAL HERO
7) MICHAEL COLLINS
