    I Found My Kilt

This evening I orderd one of the Irish American kilts from Scottish Kilts.Net. While I was there I noticed the Masonic products in the menu. I clicked on Kilts and there it was- the kilt I've just identified,The Official Grand Lodge of Scotland Tartan. The one I have has had the label removed so I don't where it came from. It's still nice to see that it's available and in several weights.

Good to hear you found out what tartan that kilt was, but ...

With a thread title like that, I was expecting something more like
"While I was there I noticed the Masonic products in the menu. I clicked on Kilts, and just then the Sun broke through the Clouds, Shone through the Window, and Lit upon the Monitor, and Lo, There it Was - My Kilt, in All its Glory. And It was Called the Official Grand Lodge of Scotland Tartan."

Sorry. I'll go back to mucking up international commerce now.

The truth is stranger than you think. Several months ago I tried to find out if there was a Masonic Tartan. I turned up zilch so I assumed there was none. Now I've learned that there are two, the one I have and a Universal Freemason Tartan. I've also found a thread on the subject here at X-Marks, dating from before I joined.I guess when the time is right the light will shine and the Tartan will appear.

They can remain secret as far as I'm concerned. I'll probably order a kilt in the Universal tartan soon. The Grand Lodge of Scotland tartan kilt will be worn only on special occasions. And before anyone gets bent out of shape over my wearing them, I am a Mason.

Then it's a stroke of luck (or is it DESTINY?) that the kilt should find it's way into your hands.
