Kilt night/afternoon in Houston
I'll be arriving in Houston about 1 or so on Sunday 3/19 for a work meeting. Would be interested in meeting up with anyone that has some time, don't have to be anywhere till 8 am on Monday. I'll be at Marriott Waterways. Let me know if you want to get together and I'll make sure to bring the kilt.

Sorry I'm going to just miss you. I'm driving down with a couple other pipers and a couple of drummers to do a little bar hopping on the 17th. Play some tunes, drink some beer, move on. Should be fun.

Not sure where that is in relation to Clodine, but, any suggestions on where to get together? Is there anyone else in the Houston area that could join us? Oh, and most important, do bring your DW. Enjoyed talking with both of you up here in Denver.

Clodine is in Ft.Bend County, just West of Houston proper. Don't worry about how far things are, we have to drive miles to get anywhere!
If you have transport, and can find your way, we could meet up Sunday afternoon down in town, in the Rice Village area,http://www.ricevillageonline.com/ this is cluster of shops and pubs off Kirby Drive, south of the S.W. Freeway (US59) My favorite pubs in that area are Brian O'Neills, http://www.brianoneills.com/ and The Gingerman, both on Morningside Dr. in the village. O'Neills is simular to the Celtic Tavern,(only with Guinness) and has a good menu if you're hungry.
As far as other kilted folks, I'm afraid I don't know that many down here, but I'll see who I can round up.
