    Kilted trip

I finished my drive across the country with my wife a few days ago; we drove from Charleston, SC to Albany, NY, then to Tacoma, WA. From Albany to Tacoma I wore my Stillwater Heavy with a long-sleeved T-shirt and it was unbelievably comfortable. I didn't have any direct odd looks but my wife reports some side-glances and mutterings of 'skirt.' I don't care; it's great to be out. Saturday we went to Seattle and she bought me a UK original in tan; I've worn it daily since. Soon I have to go back to Albany. Dunno how my new room mates will react to it. Good to be back online, tho.

    Ain't driving kilted a dream!?

    Can't understand why everyone doesn't.

Can't understand why long haul truckers haven't flocked to kilts, particularly contemporary kilts like the UK workman's.

    Maybe some day.

Too much climbing into cabs; and jumping up into, and down out of trailers?
