Success at the Kilt Adoption Agency!

A couple of weeks ago, maybe three Cessna152towser mentioned a kilt that he had abandonded to the back of the closet as it no longer fit. As luck would have it, it sounded like it would fit me. We exchanged a couple emails and the deal was done.
So here is the adopted kilt after a trip to the dry cleaner.
My thanks to cessna152towser. The kilt will have it's public debut at a State F&W meeting Friday.

That's good to see, a kilt being worn, rather than being reduced to just hanging in a closet. Good on you both!

    Nice-looking kilt.
Just make sure that in time the adoptee does indeed search for roots, heritage and possible siblings...

I am glad to see that there is some interest in the first adoption.
And, yes I know that there is a for sale thread..But, if there is interest, I would be happy to establish some sort of data base of kilt & kilt accessories for adoption here. There are a lot of reasons to put up a kilt, perhaps you out grew one, or your diet has taken several inches off the old waistline. Maybe you are not so happy with that first kilt, but a new wearer could use it.
Now I don't want to warehouse this stuff, just the information. New & old owner would have to handle that.
    Thoughts?
