    It's here

My first kilt arrived today while I was at the gym. It's a SWK in the nightstalker tartan. I like it, and I can't wait to give it it's maiden voyage gown to the cigar shop for a smoke. I figure if I can handle the ribbing I'll take from the guys there then I'm all set for anything. The hard part will be dealing with my fiance, who isn't too keen on my wearing a kilt. Anyway, Sunday is my birthday so I get to do anything I want. As I'm sure you all can guess I'll be wearing the kilt all day. That includes going to a going away brunch for a good friend and dinner with my brother and his girlfriend at a popular resturant. Oh yeah, kilt night here in Boston is coming up pretty soon too.

Congratulations on your new kilt! You never know, if your fiance has never seen you kilted - she may change her tune....

The silly objections are sometimes more difficult to over come than ones own apprehensions. There is a wealth of experience here at Xmarks to call upon if you think it might help.

You are not alone. My wife thinks kilts are weird, strange and not to be worn anywhere but at formal events, and she'd rather not go than be seen with me.

Oh well. At least I'm comfortable around them!
