    To the theater

I rarely have posted pics, but that is because I usually just nevr get any taken. So as we were on our way to the theater (that's theatre for our friends across the pond) last night , I prevaled apon my wife to take a pic. Me in my Braveheart tartan 5 yard scottishkilts.net kilt, Freelander sporran and an Equadoran shirt.

If anyone cares, we say Sondheim's "Company".

The Braveheart tartan is beautiful. I've been looking at it at Scottishkilts.net. It's much better looking than I thought. Thanks for posting a picture. Great combination that you put together.

I have admired that tartan, but didn't know the name until now. Your outfit looks nice. Is your kilt pleated to sett or stripe?

Adam, great pic. Nice looking tartan and well coordinated.

Pleated to more or less to sett (for a greater explination look at http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=14828 ).

The pleating is the one thing I wish I could have changed. While it looks great, I saw a Kilt last summer in one of the Ross tartans pleated to stripe (Green kilt with one red stripe) where the red was hidden in the pleats and only showed when moving. It was a fantastic look, and since the Braveheart is also a dark kilt with the one bold red stripe I had hoped to get it pleated similarly. However, they only pleat to sett.

I'm fairly recognisable around town since I am always kilted (though usually in a UK) Though last weekend I did have my picture taken because of the kilt.
