One Year of Kilting
Today marks the one year anniversary of my kilt wearing. The first time I strapped on a kilt in public was for Tartan Day last year. To think, my first time kilt wearing was at work.
I'm still far from a full time kilt wearer, but I do wear them from time to time. Now when I wear a kilt to work, the typical reaction is to ask what is going on that day, since I tend to wear the kilt on days of celtic significance.
Two ladies in the office have their birthday's tomorrow, but since we have compressed work weeks and a lot of people are off work tomorrow, we are celebrating today. One of them asked if I dressed up for her and I told her, "Yes, I put on a tie just for you."
I did tell both of them that if it made them feel good to think I dressed up for them, it was okay with me for them to so so. Anything for the ladies you know.
