Stuck in Germany
Hello all,
I've been lurking and learning for a few months now. As yet I have no kilts though I am looking. I don't imagine looks will bother me in a kilt any more than they do when I'm out in my 18th century woodsrunning clothes(mocassins, breechclout, leggings, shirt, knife). I am stuck in Germany for another 9 months or so. On the upside, I'm in Bavaria where there are lots of fests and lots of good German beer. I'm originally from TN and the Army has kept me in KS when not overseas.
We've been to Scotland once and loved it. Saw lots of kilts in Edinburgh and watched them shoot a movie at Stirling castle. If the exchange rate wasn't such a killer it would be a regular stop for us. Maybe some day. Looking forward to getting a kilt and really styling.
YMOS,
Tony

Tony,
A great big WELCOME! Glad that you stopped lurking and are now posting, as that seems to increase the knowledge of Kilt wearing. Again WELCOME.

Might be quite a transition from breechcloth to a kilt...whole lot more fabric there...although I am sure you will get a far better female response.
