    Now I'm Getting Confused

I'm still getting used to being kilted during the week and this morning when I went to get dressed I forgot where my wallet was. I had to go back in my mind if I was wearing shorts or a kilt and which sporran did I have. This is starting to get a little out of hand.

Yesterday I went to see my mother and had on my Black Watch. She looked at me and questioned as to whether I was going out in kilts now. I told her I was and then she told me that one of her favorites skirts in High School (1954) was a Black Watch. I asked if she had any idea about the history which she didn't so I gave her a couple of websites to learn about her "favorite skirt".

These things get more addicting over time. I've only been going kilted for a month or so but I feel more comfortable every day.

Thanks for the help from here.

I use to have that problem, finding my wallet, but now it is in my day pack.
My Dr. told me to not wear my wallet in back pocket, it exasterbated my lower back problem. Now that I am wearing a kilt more often I use the :

I put my wallet in the back pocket of my Mocker, right cargo pocket of my Workman's, wallet pocket on my PK, and sporran on my SWK. That's confusing.

There are two things that I noticed while getting older.

    1. Your mind is the first to go.

    2. Oh dear I forgot what this one was.

Seriously I do that all the time trying to remember where my wallet is, and in what sporran I had it. It is sort of funny when one pulls out the wallet from the sporran the looks on some faces.

Glad that you were able to give your mom some sites regarding the Black Watch.

It does sound however that you are adjusting to your Kilted life just fine.

They're called a bum bag. But I never wear mine in back either. I call it a belt pouch. Having lived in England as a child, I can't bring myself to call it a "fanny pack."

    Andrew.
I knew an otherwise fairly proper girl who called hers a p**** pouch, due to where it hung - never did seem to sound right, coming from her.
