Thanks fellas, Alan the buckle is self made and you can get a close up of it in a fairly recent thread in the under "buckle and sporran clasp" I think. The sporran's still on the way. I chopped up my old cheapy only to find it was't all leather so I'm making one at the mo out an old leather satchel. wish me luck! my leathercraft is certainly in line for improvement. W2F, if anyone's studied casual, that's me. Thar's got to be an oxymoron right there. ahh the irony...
