I got mine today, and consider it decent value. As far as I can tell it is all-leather. The sides are supple; the front and back are hard. It seems to be glued then sewn. The chain strap won't win any beauty contests. The plating on the chain is not smooth, and the buckle in the strap is already a bit corroded.

For $15 you can't go wrong. Eventually you'll spend more than that on a good strap. It is my first sporran, and I am pleased with it. I think I'll be shortening the strap when I get my PV kilt in June.
