Smile How often do you wear a kilt?

Ok, I'm still new to the forum so if I'm rehashing an old thread then someone ride me a little and then point me in the right direction (I did look, I swear!)

Anyways, I was just wondering how often people wear their kilts? You can pick it up here and there on the posts, but as I mentioned I haven't found a thread that discusses how often or in what circumstances different people wear their kilts.

    So are you:
    An everyday all-day wearer?
A most days, but pants still show up every once in a while wearer?
    3-4 times a week?
    Only after work?
    Once a week?
    Occasionally?
    Only on formal occasions?

Just wondering. Thought it would be interested to find out.

As for me, I'm an afterwork and weekends wearer at this point. I discussed why not to work on possingk's thread on pants .

Well, it's increasing for me. Used to be occasionally. Then weekends. Now weekends, some weekdays, some after work . . . There is a trend!

I generally wear mine every day unless at work (uniform) or if the situation calls for wearing pants (riding my motorcycle/doing messy home renovations/etc.).

I believe I've worn them every day for the past month or so.

Ah, I envy you everyday all-day guys! That's gotta be the life. Can't wait for the summer and kilted days.

Unlike what appears to be a great many of the fine folks that I read about here at X-Marks I only wear mine on special occasions. That will be changing in the near future as my wife is encouraging me to wear it more often. Notice the word "it" not "them". I am presently working on that problem and have ordered a "heavyweight" from Stillwater as a start. Next will be an 7 or 8 yd 16oz wool "tank" in a Ferguson modern tartan. Then... Wait! I have to pay the mortgage. OK Then another in Ferguson weathered. Then I start selling things on *Bay for the next one.

    Cheers! Bill
