    That is nice, but I wonder if that sheath was original, or adapted from a real skean dubh - looks like the latter.

    Still very nice though; it would be a unique accoutrement.

    Looks like a very nice knife and would be a nice addition to a collection, however, I'm used to my horn topped sgian dbhu having a "shaved back" to fit tight against the leg. I'm not sure how well this would fit, but it sure is a nice piece.

    Quite a beautiful looking knife there Woodsheal. I started(only just today) to make my own from an old shefield file, and that was a bit of inspiration. Very handsome piece that.
