    Pittsburgh Kilts

I just got an e-mail from Jeff saying that Pittsburgh Kilts is no more.

I regret I will not own one of these fantastic works of wearable art.

Oh well, I suppose I should start a-looking for a used singer on e-bay.

    Best To All,

    BronxKilt

Edited to Say: I of course wish Jeff all the best and I love the supportive website; I am just sorry our kilted paths did not cross. BK

Pittsburgh Kilts may be no more, but Jeff has taken a step in helping more men become kilted. He redesigned his website to direct people here for advice and to a couple of other kiltmakers for buying. Want to make your own - there's directions and links to fabric sources. He may no longer be there, but he's pointed where to go.
Let's wish Jeff success with his IT job, and if he decides at some point to come back, we'll be waiting.

I knew I should have ordered that Bull-Brushed Denim PK to match my BDUs when I had the chance ... sigh.

Arghhhh. I've not been to Jeff's website for a while; simply hoping for his return. I have one of his creations and want more. New additions to the family however, can change anyone's business plan.

Jeff, I wholeheartedly wish you the best and if you ever get back into the kiltmaking business you have a loyal following here.

In the meantime enjoy your family and do what you need to do.

    Cheers,
    Dee

I also wish Jeff well. And as an owner of 2 of the kilts from his swan song, they mean even more. His underapron pocket is brilliant and the quality of his kilts is top-notch.

So, who is going to step up to the plate? Hmmm...

Oh, with regards the under apron pocket, seems many of the Regimental kilts made for Canadian Regiments have had them since before WW2. Who knew? I know I sure didn't. Met a bud currently with the NS Highlanders and, lo and behold, his kilt had one. He said he'd never seen one in the Regiment without.
