Enter the Haggis
Ok, Guys Here is my review of ETH. I have had a very busy weekend with these guys and I must say I love the new sound, they have changed the way all of their music is remembered. The sound has a ton of other influnces from different genres and it blends well with the celtic rock sound that they are known for. Their new album Soapbox Heroes is a must have. I must say all of the rumors are true the only one there in a kilt was Craig Downie the piper and band founder. If these guys tour close to your hometown go and check them out if you're not a fan now you will be after you see them perform.

Saw the show last night. Absolutely incredible. One of the most entertaining bands out there. Know how to work a crowd. They said they will be playing the Green Lane festival and the Celtic Classic at Bethlehem as well as the Celtic Fling next year. And, as you have found out, they just recently got mass distribution of their two most recent cd's.

They were selling copies of the live cd and dvd at the table. Don't they sell the live cd off their web site? I haven't heard it but I generally don't care for live cd's due to poor sound quality. They didn't have any copies of Aerials or Let the Wind Blow High for sale. They definitely seemed to be trying to distance themselves from these two albums. Only the piper was wearing a kilt. I don't know tartans at all yet but it was gray and kind of a purplish-red.
