Jumping in!
I've already made a few posts here but figured I should introduce myself. Found this forum about a year ago, shortly after I got my first kilt ( uk blk workman's), and the advise has been invaluable. Don't know why it took so long to join, just figured I didn't have much to add as I'm hardly an experienced kilter. I may not post as often as others because many questions have already been posted and answered, if one takes the time to look through the threads. I now own three uk's and an irish nationall on the way from stillwater, and a sligo county 13 oz. 8yd on my wish list. So for all the
modern/traditional debate I'll add this.. Modern kilts got me interested in traditional's. I have an Irish ancestory but grew up without any interest in it until my wife and i ( together 17 years) went there. Done lots of research since. I wear my kilts several times a week and have been pleased by the generally good response that I recieve. Great conversation starter.
Anyway thanks to the legends out there

here already?
Wow, my stillwater is here already! Just ordered it on the 19th. It arrived just after I posted. Took a good looking over it and am very pleased, no snags, no strings, nice job linning up belt loops to the tartan. Good fit on hips (I was concerned since they don't offer anything but "standard size") And I wear a 24 length anyway. The pleats are nicely alligned to the sett and even across.
Would have liked more wieght but they don't offer them in irish national. Overall good product / Good price. I hope it stands up to a lot of wear.
Can't wait til the wife sees me in this

The orders I made with Stillwater have averaged about a three day delivery time. You can't beat Jerry's delivery time.
