New fabric

I got this at Hancock Fabrics for $4 a yard, almost 9 yards, 60 inches wide. Now to figure out what to do with it. I'm considering a Great Kilt and a box pleated kilt or a box pleated kilt and an 8 yarder. Decisions, decisions.

Dejavu... I had a winter coat and matching hat similar to that as a youngster.

It doesn't look like a tartan. Is it a twill weave? What the weight? It might make an intresting box pleat. How about a matching A-line for the other half.

blu, it's a generic wool plaid that caught my eye and was cheap. It's about a 13 oz, not twill, more like a blanket. Given the 60 inch width I could probably squeeze 2 box pleats and a great kilt out of it. I got the whole bolt at the sale price.
