    Celtic Santas

This is a pic of the "Celtic Christmas Santa" that I bought last year. My son has a Santa nut-cracker wearing the full Highland Gear with pipes.

My wife took this photo of me at the Alexandria VA Scottish Christmas Walk, Christmas 2004.
I can't get down there every year, but the work schedule looks like I'll be able to make it this year. Always a good time. The walk back from the parade usually takes longer than the parade itself. Seems as if everyone wants a picture with the "Kilted Santa", or "Saint MacNicholas" as one of the Parade officials put it.
All skill and effort is to no avail when an angel pees down your drones.

My mother made this for me years ago. Each of my siblings got their own personalized Santa. My brothers got a "hockey" one and a "fishing" one, respectively, and my sisters got a "gardening" one and a "skiing" one.

I still think that it's the best gift I've ever received from anyone.
