    Cool WWE to be kilted

In the coming weeks, a new tag-team wrestling duo will grace tv screens with their kilts, on WWE Monday Night RAW. They are called The Highlanders. I wonder if they will be able to pull it of better than old "Rowdy" Roddy Piper?

I looked up from the computer last night and saw kilts on TV. I immediately stopped reading Xmarks and paid attention.

My brother-in-law was watching wrestling (no idea what show) and the had a little cut scene with these guys. They looked ok from what I could see. But 20 ft and no sounds .... take it as you will.

Here is a little blurb I found.. Link

Robbie and Rory McAllister, The Highlanders, are on the verge of being called up after the creative team liked their promos. Their gimmick are "Scottish Bushwhackers." They are actually long-time Canadian indie wrestlers who were signed to developmental deals last year.

Here is the WWE Link to a promo video.. Maybe Hot Rodd will take them under his wing and show them the way, so to speak... Maybe Roddy Piper will be come their manager... Th seem real cool with greatting the public!!

    Another good Link

To top it all off!!!!!! Rory is a Murray!!!!

What was wrong with Rowdy Roddy Piper???? He wore the kilt well for the situation than, and apparently he still wears it. Piper has been listed several times on this site as people's first memory of a kilt. He's the man.......

MacHummel, Are the Highlanders Canadian than?

There was no problem with Piper's manner of presentation I'd say. Perhaps the fellow (highlandcelt) was about to say, "as well as," but instead typed in, "better than."
I cannot 2nd guess the authors intent, but I believe Piper to be of good character and possibly most willing to be bested in appearance and performance concerning the display of an act he developed. That, it seems to me is what showmanship engenders. That's what it's all about. (That, and of course The Hokey Pokey!)
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?
