This weekend I was at the german Harfentreffen (Harpers Meeting)even though I myself do not yet play it ( my son does) and I was in the same room as the other "kilt" wearer:
Well he called it a kilt, too long closing the wrong way, but he played brilliantly!!

it was great!!
