UK Mocker Mods
Well, when they say please allow eight weeks for delivery, they mean it. And some change.
Two months ago, I ordered a khaki UK mocker, which arrived today while I was exercising the dog (pulled up, and I waited about 10 minutes or so before the driver emerged from the van - MAN - talk about getting impatient!).
I was suprised to find the following two modifications since my last mocker order, sometime last year:
- two snaps on either side of apron at waistband - for beltless wearing
- light-weight fabric, rather than twill, for the front and rear pockets, reducing the overall weight of the UK considerably while improving the hang and general comfort.

Rex,
I like the idea of the snaps at either side of the waistband. It would help for a more "fitted" look. at the waist.

Not sure if the snaps at the waistband are a new mod or just now standard on the Mocker. I purchased one off of eBay late last year that had this, but I seem to recall the seller mentioning that it was an option they paid extra for. Nice if you ask me, and it does make it possible to forego the belt.
Now if I had just lost as much weight as I thought when I purchased it, I might be able to wear it!

That's the problem with the waist snaps, they fit you where they fit you. No waist snaps will actually give you about an inch either way.
The web site makes no mention of this being standard now. I also thought it was just an extra you could add.

Thanks for that info Rex,
New to me. Never would have guessed it.
Have three mockers, none with waist snaps.
Agree, there's more range for us fatties without them.

Congrads on the new Kilt, Rex!
Would love to see some pics when you get a chance
My mocker does not have the waist band snaps. Not sure I would like them. The snaps seem appropriate for my Survival, though.
Enjoy your new UK!
Cheers,
