I have to wait until when!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been on vacation for the last week and I finally got around to checking my mail and lo and behold there was a notice to pick up a package. Naturally it could only be one thing ,my handsewn 9 yard Douglas Weathered kilt from Kathy Lare. WOOT

Sadly the window was already closed and with the holiday I will have to wait until actually I have no idea now, bloody post office and their holidays I don't know if I can hold oot until then.

AHHHHHHHHHH. I need Single Malt STAT!!!!!!

Empty a bottle of single malt...get a crowbar and "open" the post office.
Any reasonable judge will understand...I guess...err...well..maybe not

If not...well...at least you go to jail with your new kilt

Oh dear...maybe going to jail isn't a good idea...the boys might like your...err...kilt

Okey...drink bottle and wait...your head might hurt, but at least you can sit without problems

I had my postman rapping on my door today too. It was also a package from Kathy. However, mine wasn't anything NEAR as exciting, but very pleasing none-the-less. It was the Prince Charlie and Vest I rented from her for my wedding. Holy crap... wedding in exactly a week from today

Oh, yes - if the judge is female and kilt is worn in court: "My chambers. Now!"

Actually, Tuesday is the holiday as that is July 4, one of the few holidays that is still celebrated on a specific date instead of a Monday.

You ought to be able to slip in on Monday, although they might have a skeleton staff that day.

As a federal government worker, I know I took leave on Monday in order to get an extra long weekend.

Funny thing aboot holidays, the only ones I get off are Thanksgiving and Christmas since the restaraunt is closed o nthose, al lthe others I work. I might get in on Monday, but I hav e to sign for the package and the post office only has three workers total so the window might not be open. We shal lsee. Having it so close yet so far away is not a good feeling

    Rob,

Just remember that wearing the Kilt is teaching us all a great amount of patience. Waiting for a Kilt is excrutiating!

Well, its gotta be tough knowing its a clan tank from Kathy Lare....

I'd call in sick first thing Monday morning and be at the PO when it opens up....good on you if you can "wait."
