Galded **** syndrome
Please forgive if this is a repost.
I am looking for a product that will aleive(sp?) the "galded **** syndrome", bad chafing of the **** and inner thighs, attributed to alot of walking and hiking while regimental. I need something that will last for several hours between applications. Without wearing the drawers, of course! LOL!
I am going to Washington DC to the Smithsonian Museums, the numerous monuments, the US Senate Building and the Washington Monument. To say the least, ALOT of walking!
Any help on this will be appreciated. I am going on July 14th.

Body Glide. Accept no substitutes! Look for it in sporting goods stores...usually near the jock straps.

BodyGlide works if one hasn't already galled one's ****.
If the condition already exists, Boudreaux's Butt Paste is the stuff you want.
No, I'm not kidding. Really. It's not a joke. It's a real product.

He's right! It would be a good solution for those with bad chaffing, even rumbed raw and bleeding (which is unlikely for the kilted-> I would put on boxers before it got to that point!).
if you have a baby that gets a RAW rump (as happens with daipers and loose stools), that is THE STUFF to use! It sooths and heals. Accept no substitutes (in my experiences with my kids, the others seem to burn)!
Happy babies make happy mommies and daddies!
It can be found in either the pharmacy or baby section. I've bought it from both. If your kids are in daipers this is as necessary as a daiper overstock, bottles, and their "special blanket and toy"). No one would look at you odd, it is SO COMMON for kiddos by parents and grandparents that NO ONE i've asked has looked odd at me (which I cannot say when I'm kilted). However, I think that would not be a problem for any or us.

Body Glide, definitely
The company even has a website: http://www.bodyglide.com/
Basically, it's a synthetic wax designed for runners and other athletes who have a chafing problem. I've been using for months and it works great.

I am going to get me some body glide! My granny has the butt paste! And it is awesome for a pre-exhisting case! A lil thick, but it works great!

Mad thanks to you for the link for Body Glide! There is a shop that is only 10 miles from me that sells it! I am going there this Wednesday to get some! Thanks again for the link!

I used Body Glide everyday in Germany while kilted and not. With all the walking around it is a must or you will burn yourself up!.

One wonders how the Irish and Scots wearing leines and brats or feileadh bhreacain got along without BodyGlide.
(Not really. Braies, hip-wraps, loincloths, smallclothes, and all were likely.)
