    Leftover Xmarks fabric........

I was delighted to find my beautiful Xmarks tartan Tewksbury kilt waiting for me in the mail today. It is truly a work of art in motion. I hope to get a few photos this coming weekend.

There was some fabric left over from the kilt. I plan on making flashes and a necktie with some of it and there is probably enough for a waistcoat.

If there was enough, I think this tartan would make a darn handsom pair of trews. Worn with a blue or black blazer - could look pretty sharp!

    Xmarks tartan trews anyone?!

    How much you got left?

It would make a difference as to what I'd say.

If 2 yards, I'll buy it off you.

    Congrats Blu!

I've 140cm double width (3 yards single width) left.

Not enough for a kilt for a grown man, but I guess it's enough for a kid.
I'll send it (for free) to anyone who wants a XMarks kilt for his kid*.

*Note: only for a kids kilt! so...no fly plaid, no trews, no waistcoat, ties, bonnets, shawls, etc.

    ***EDIT***

Fabric goes to Panache and Highlandercelt

I am sure my son would love it. Has anyone else indicated interest?

I just got back from the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games and Gordon Kirkbright was there and had a length (don't know how much, it wasn't a lot) of extra X Marks tartan on his remnant table.

Don't know if it will still be there by the end of the weekend, but if someone is interested it would be worth an email or phone call to Fraser & Kirkbright.

Hmmm... I've never tried wool underwear before.
