    New member.

    Greetings.

A little about me: My name's Phill, i'm from Cincinnati. 26 years old, married, 13 month old son with a second child on the way.

Been thinking of trying a kilt for size for the past few months, especially lately when it's been 95 degrees outside, with a heat index of 100+.

Welcome from the Windy City! And once you try one, you will wonder what took you so long.

i've been reading up a lot on different sites (kiltmen.com, utilikilts.com, and a few others i can't remember off the top of my head.) so i'm familiar with the different styles out there. (really like the look of the Utilikilt, got the big pockets on the sides like Cargo pants).

just kinda easing into the idea still. i don't know anybody who wears a kilt, so that makes it worse.

Welcome! I'm new to the kilt myself, but am not really concerned with what other people think. Of course, it'd be nice to get more of the ladies, lol.

Welcome to X Marks RealJuggalo, from the Heart of Silicon Valley in California!

I would highly recommend the "Show us your pics" section of the forum to get good idea of the various kilt looks out there. Hamish and Riverkilt have photo albums online of their pretty extensive and varied collections as well.

My UK was my first kilt. I still love it.

    Cheers
