    Thumbs up Co-worker..

I got an email from one of my co-workers today, and he asked me to come talk to him at my convience...he says he's going to buy a kilt. So I go over there and he tells me that he liked the kilt I wore to work one day and that he was wanting to buy one!! He wanted me to help him choose one. Well, he ended up buying a Gordon Economy from SWK, along with a belt and kilt pin. I'm really excited to have a fellow kiltie at work. I've encouraged him to check out xmarks...so Scott if you're out there...jump in!!

Well done! Adding another kiltie to the rabble is fantastic.

Wow! I had a friend of mine at my favorite Honky Tonk ask me for one of my old kilts. This is the second time this has happened in that place, the first guy still wears it once in awhile. This new guy is a truck driver, cowboy all the way. At first I thought he was kidding but then he started to ask some really practical questions. Of course, he was also getting really tired of me, as he said, "gettin' all the danged attention!"

Since I work in kilts I've always got at least one that's on it's way out of my closet anyway ... I'm giving him one this Saturday nite. Who knows, maybe him seeing me wearing kilts for years and seeing how much I enjoy wearing them for work and play finally made him wonder if he was missing out. No doubt he'd be much more comfortable at work driving a truck all day.

I've been to truck stops many times kilted, like all the other truckers I have to park my rig in the back and enjoy the priviledge of using the 'trucker entrance'. I've had countless truckers either shake my hand or give me a thumbs up. I haven't seen anyone else kilted at the stops but I know that more than one are thinking that I may just really have the right idea.

One man consistently wearing a kilt has a slow but noticable effect on the willingness of those around them to not only accept kilts as normal but to consider the possiblility that they are even better than normal.

    Kilt On.
