Though I had already Posted
Here I've been posting, and commenting for a week or so and thought I had introduced myself here, but I guess I just lost track. Funny, I don't remember being absent-minded.
I'm 51 and should be kilted by tomorrow, having taken advantage of the SWK sale that Cavscout spotted and announced. I was inspired to kilt by my 18 y/o son who is more highly evolved than I am, but I'm a quick study. I hope to learn from the experienced kilters on this site, and share any ideas that come to mind in response to other's posts. Whether they are good ideas or not will be determined by you all.

Actually, as I write this he is in Scotland. A little graduation present from his two moms. Mommie 2 is a well-heeled OB/GYN in North Shore Chicago.
However, I bought him his first wool kilt in the clan tartan.
I'll encourage him to check out the site when he returns. BTW, thanks for all the welcomes. I hhave really enjoyeds

Welcome from Georgia. I'm glad to see someone else who lives in this area. We should get together for a kilt night sometime. I think there are a couple of others from the area also.

That would be great! I'm on the kilt map, as a several others. I'd like to meet the others and get my first public appearance as part of a herd.

Welcome from an Atlanta Native now residing in South Carolina. I was born in Decatur and raised in the Norcross/Lilburn/Tucker/Stone Mountain area (our house was in Lilburn, but a stones throw from the other 3).
