Auld Dubliner pubs?
So there's a new pub opening up soon here in Tucson, which purports to be "Irish." It's one of those just-add-Guinness places, a pub in a box, I guess. Just wondering what others' experiences with the chain have been - they've got a few other locations about the country.
Check here for some more info.
This one's unfortunately very close to the University, with all the amateur night imbibers and parking problems that entails, but who knows, might be interesting...

Sounds like it may be a bit snooty for the average collage kid.. When they start throw are the Premium this and Premium that, I start thinking "PREMIUM price tag"!
Sounds like a nice place though..

Too bad the trolley doesn't run that late, yet. I believe they're supposed to extend the hours soon.
Not quite sure when it's gonna open; probably depends on getting all their permits hung up and their ducks in a row.
If only there were a couple more decent Irish bands in town...

amen to that!!
hopefully I can get Vinnie to see the light , and give up on a metal band and we can get one going ...alls we need is a drummer, a guitar, a fiddle, and we's be set!
vinnie plays Bass, pipes, brohan, and I play guitar and pipes so I think we'd make a pretty good band with the add ons above......
I'm thinking a mix of Young Dubs, flogging molly, Seven Nations, with just a hint of dropkick murphys! and just for S's and G's a little Battlefield Band now and then

Heard today that they're still waiting on their liquor license; could be awhile for that.
They said maybe by the end of the month. We'll see...
Too bad I work so many nights. Used to play drums, guitar, etc and gig on a frequent basis. Just don't have much time to play rock star anymore.
