    Speaking of kilted at work...

I was reading through a couple other folks' threads about being kilted on the job. Which reminded me... I more or less got the go ahead from my supervisor's supervisor (I interact with both, and both have say in my duties. One is just more immediate than the other... but both are great people to work with). She happened to see me browsing around the Tartan Museum's website and was all "hey I think I saw a kilt..." which naturally drew the response of "well, you did"... which lead to a discussion of heritage, and history (always fun topics... she's a MacKintosh... so there really isn't much of an argument to make...she's biased as I am), and whether I own one, and whether I would wear it to school/work (one of my jobs, and the one I consider my main job is on campus)... which of course I said I would, as soon as I can attain more accessories. Hooray for me!

Well, at least when all my goods arrive. I really like ordering through the Tartan Museum... the downside... backorder. That's ok though, I can be patient... chances are the belt, and shirt are what were on backorder... I don't expect any place to keep much of the larger sized stuff on hand (and I am a pretty large guy... unfortunately I also have a bit extra girth I could stand to lose besides the size of my physical frame). But, once I manage to get all the goodies, I'm pretty much good to go...and it will be comfy indeed.

Congrats Andrew on the okie doakie,

Wearing kilts to work is what sold me on the comfort factor and turned me from a part time to a full time kilt wearer.

I'll trade the same questions over and over for comfort any day...besides, us kilted guys meet some interesting, and often most lovely, people.

    You're home free, relish it.

Univerisites tend to be pretty open-minded about that stuff. Congratulations!

Right on! Go kilted where those who are there learning can observe another fine example of freedom in America!
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?
