Afraid of wearing kilts? read this!
I posted some pictures on a Live Journal somewhere...some comments:
pitter patter
(my heart, not little feet!)
Go check out the views in men_in_kilts this community. I haven't been to Scotland in. . . . . um, 'scuse me, gotta go pack, quick!
btw, anybody, and I mean ANYBODY looks better in a kilt. Gah-ron-teed. At the last King Arthur Faire at Hammond, one of my nephew's friends that I like very much, sweet kid, was eyeing the kiltmaker's wares* and asked "I've got just enough to get a kilt. Do you think I should?" I insisted that EVERY man needs a kilt, and bought one for him. He's lived in it ever since, and hasn't stopped thanking me. It's the gift that keeps on giving. :-)
*(No, it wasn't a real kilt, more like a "skirt": didn't have 8 yards of material and wasn't 100% wool. I consider it a "training wheels" kilt. He can save up for The Real Thing.)
*melts*
Oh thank you for the link. More men need kilts, and I need more men in kilts.
kilted men are best appreciated like bagpipes: far away on a misty hill, where the romance of 'em is more apparent
*lol* Every man looks better in a kilt, but strangely, some seem to be in denial of this fact, probably more-so here in Scotland. Well, to their loss! My other half has the full outfit, and wears in for weddings (including one in Itlay where it was roasting and when we got out the taxi someone shouted "Viva Scotia!</i> ). He also wears a more informal version with a casual shirt for ceilidhs, which I like even better.
My Dad wore my brothers the others day for a group trip to Belgium so they all arrived in kilts. He's Northern Irish actually, but they all had to wear them.
I love kilts.
omg, you just made my eyes happy and my heart ache. I haven't been to Scotland since. . . . . yikes! (running to pack!)
So. Damn. SEXAY!
Alas, you are so far, far away ...
I Second BOTH Halves of that comment... (Sigh...) and (BIG SIGHHHHHHH...)
At last a traditional kilt - well done ! a joy to behold.
So...anyone afraid of wearing a kilt?

I'm not!!
To add to this, here is a message that was posted by a nice woman on another forum. I was told about it after the fact as I wasn't a member of that group. I can provide a link to the thread if anyone is interested, it's rather...umm...interesting.
Maybe this site is familiar to some of you. I just found this guy (nice little wife here too, sigh . . . ) who's gone over to kilts all the time. That picture of him on the rocks with the sea behind him just turns me heart over. Not just wearing it, but biking in it.
Notice the "Sporranos" t-shirt

Is there anything more attractive than a man in a kilt? You lads that are wearing one all the time -- you simply make the world a better place .
Thanks!
