Wedding photos
This past weekend, a pair of my friends got married. Finally.
My wife was the photographer for the event, and I drove the vans and helped out with things. I was the only one kilted, but the response was completely favorable, from the younger generation, up to the grandparents, including a pair of older ladies who wanted pics with me.
For the record, SWK Heavyweight BlackWatch, SWK Fly plaid and brooch. Prince Charlie and waistcoat I picked up on eBay for $100. Homemade flashes.

VERY sharp. I dig the fly plaid. Been considering a Nightstalker fly plaid from them to go with my kilt. But, I just don't know when I would actually wear it...

Nice outfit, but you know it's not good manners to be dressed better than the bride. I was actually asked once not to wear a kilt to a wedding, so I wore trews instead. O'Neille

That's a very good set of pics. It's also proof you don't need to spend a lot to go formal.

Easy to see why you only got favorable response - looks sharp!

You look great. My only comments are nitpicking. As has been mentioned, as far as the belt and waistcoat, it should be one or the other. Also, the top of the kilt looks a little low, as you shouldn't have that bit of shirt peaking out. Raising the kilt though, would probably make it too short. My suggestion would be to not wear the waistcoat in this case.
Like I said though, that's just nitpicking. You do look good and put the outfit together nicely. Hopefully the bride wasn't too upset that you looked better than her.
