Kilts of Calgary! It's Time!
Alright. I'm fed up! All Talk and no show everywhere I hear bar staff 'claiming' ***day people show up in kilts!
Tuesday March 6. 7ish How does that sound.
Kilt and Caber Ale House.
Not wing night but the work out to ~$0.25 wings, Can't go wrong with the name either.
53 High Street SE, Calgary Alberta <----- This is the address... See, now you can't even use the "but I didn't know where is was" excuse.
Just incase you get there and can't remember what it looks like.
Spread the word. Not just here, but to anyone you know who owns a kilt in Calgary. If they don't have one... lend them one or something.

Sigh...
Actually, I work Tuesdays. My days off are Sunday & Monday. Will be like that until December. Make it either of htose nights and I'll be glad to join in.
For those who can't find "High Street", it's in the neighbourhood of "McKenzie Towne". Excellent bar, too!

Ah... I remember you saying you work Tues. but not till later, now, which would make Monday good. Forgive the 2 day hangover I had after the Ceilidh in Canmore for the laps of memory. (I decided the crowd at the Rose and Crown wasn't excited enough.... don't know why I thought that... and was the overly happy kiltie stopming his feet by the pipes and drums encouraging everyone to be as happy a drunk as me.... free drinks kept showing up... recipe for disaster)
How does Monday sound? Still the Kilt and Caber? No wing deal on Mondays though, I thing the regular price is about $0.25/wing.
Limericks has $0.09 wings on Monday. Good pub/bar, although I'm always sceptical of $0.09 wings (More skin than meat) and I think I like the atmosphere of the "Kilt and Caber" a little more on the average night.
Al, if this works for you get back to me and I'll edit my original post to Monday. Maybe we can use this Thread as an ongoing "this is when Kilt night is" resource.
Will, would Monday work for you?

Monday would work great for me, Brenden. I don't leave for work till 1 pm on Tuesday so staying out a bit late on Monday is no problem. What time are you thinking of getting there, 7:30 or so?
It was nice meeting you and your wife in Canmore. I would have come back but I ran into some people from work that I knew and spent way to much time chatting with them.

Well I don't have any prior commitments. So... barring any unforseen circumstances, I'll be there.
